“Women’s bodies could be thought of as territories that have been, historically, tried to be conquered and controlled. However, many battles have been fought (and still are) to gain autonomy. “My Body, My Property” shines a light on the different ways to put the body on the line and claim women’s body freedom. Through three performances, made between 2019 and 2022, Natacha Voliakovsky questions reproductive rights issues, especially the right to abortion, in two different contexts.”
